transfers funds to customers instantly after contract approval. Initially, the company only provided loans to customers in cash. To support customers who are willing and desire to utilize the service, the company has developed a method of paying them by transferring funds to their accounts. Since 2022, this service has been available to all branches. The service is constantly being improved to accommodate more users. It could decrease employee workload, costs, and cash-holding risks.
Currently, customers are interested in and trusting the company's operations. The volume of money transferred into customer accounts has been increasing steadily. In 2023, there were 185,688 contracts for direct money transfers into customer accounts, and there were 246,412 contracts in 2024, which were 32.7% increase over the previous year. This has resulted in an ongoing reduction in travel expenses and fuel consumption of approximately 66 liters/branch/year, totaling 2,145,990 baht
Payments using QR codes at service points
Previously, customers had to contact the company's branches to make payments, but now the company accepts installment payments using QR codes at service points such as Counter Service and Cross Bank Bill Payment. To reduce the risk of carrying cash, and respond to adjust consumer behavior by switching to technology for greater convenience.
In 2023, there were 759,694 customers who paid installments via QR Code at service points such as Counter Service and Cross Bank Bill Payment per year. In 2024, there were 1,124,438 customers per year, which represents a continuous increase of 48% from the previous year, resulting in a reduction in travel expenses for customers per person of approximately 843,300 liters/branch/year, totaling 29,500,000 baht.
