Importance and Mission

The Company conducts its business with a strong commitment to environmental and social responsibility. We recognize the critical importance of effective waste management to prevent environmental impacts, minimize resource consumption, and support sustainable development. Although our lending operations do not generate direct manufacturing waste, our nationwide branch network and daily office activities produce general waste, paper waste from transactions, and electronic waste (E-Waste) from IT equipment, all of which require proper and systematic management.

Goal and Performance

Goal
Paper consumption to total revenue ratio decreased by 5%
Performance
In 2025, the paper consumption to total revenue ratio decreased by 20%

Management Approach

The Company actively promote resource efficiency by integrating the Circular Economy concept and the 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle)

into our enterprise risk management framework. Our waste management strategy addresses two critical dimensions:

  • Environmental Dimension: Preventing heavy metal contamination from E-waste into soil and water sources, which could lead to pollution and community disputes.
  • Data Privacy Dimension: Ensuring zero leakage of customers' personal data embedded in physical documents and electronic memory, in strict compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

The Company has established a clear target to initiate at least one paper-saving project and reduce paper consumption intensity by no less than 5% compared to the previous year. Furthermore, we aim for 100% safe data destruction and proper recycling of all E-waste and confidential documents.

Operations and Implementation

  1. Green Procurement: We evaluate suppliers and prioritize eco-friendly or Green Label products to minimize future waste generation.
  2. Digital Transformation: We developed and implemented the "E-Meeting SAK" system and strongly emphasize the use of internal e-Forms to reduce printing. This not only significantly reduces paper waste but also enhances corporate data security.
  3. Waste Segregation Campaigns: We provide categorized bins and cultivate employee awareness on properly separating general waste, recyclable waste, and organic waste.
  4. E-Waste Management: We properly dispose of electronic waste through partnerships with networks such as Advanced Info Service Plc. (AIS). E-waste drop-off points are established at the head office, with strict IT protocols requiring complete data wiping and physical destruction of memory components before entering the recycling process.

Performance and Results

  1. In 2025, with a total revenue of 3,341 million Baht, the Company successfully and significantly reduced paper consumption, achieving our target:
Category Total 2023 Total 2024 Total 2025 2025 Target vs Total Revenue 2025 vs 2024 (%) 2026 Target vs Total Revenue
Paper Consumption 31,204 Reams 30,609 Reams 25,648 Reams 5% reduction from the previous year -20% 5% reduction from the previous year
Paper Intensity to Total Revenue 0.0011% 0.0010% 0.0008%
  1. The implementation of the E-Meeting SAK system successfully saved approximately 4,961 reams of paper, equating to a cost saving of roughly 595,320 Baht.
  2. The Company efficiently collected degraded IT equipment, completely destroyed all confidential data, and forwarded the E-waste into certified and proper disposal processes.
